TupeloLife Joins the Texas A&M ERC PATHS-UP

TupeloLife today announced that it has joined the Texas A&M Engineering Research Center (ERC) on Precise Advanced Technologies and Health Systems for Underserved Populations (PATHS-UP). The vision of PATHS-UP is to address the healthcare challenges of the underserved populations by developing revolutionary and cost-effective technologies and systems at the point of care.

“We are honored to be invited by the Texas A&M ERC faculty to be part of PATHS-UP. Their mission aligns with our values and our technologies to provide access to the underserved population to manage chronic diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease” said Melvin Mathew, CEO of TupeloLife.

The TupeloLife Care@Home Technologies is well-positioned to help meet one of the PATHS-UP goals of developing technologies that can overcome the barriers usually faced by point-of-care devices. The technologies developed need to be deployable, highly accurate, easy-to-use, and affordable. TupeloLife plans to collaborate with Texas A&M on a variety of initiatives in Texas to address this market.

About PATHS-UP:  Texas A&M has been awarded the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) ERC, which is an interdisciplinary initiative that connects academia, industry, and government partners to integrate engineering research and education with technological innovation to transform national prosperity, health, and security.
